Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EventsInCayman website, mobile application, and related services (together, the “Platform”), operated by EventsInCayman (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly at support@eventsincayman.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

2. Using the Platform

EventsInCayman is a platform for discovering, listing, and registering for events in the Cayman Islands. You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful content or events.
• Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any person.
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Platform.
• Harvest or scrape data from the Platform without our written permission.
• Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm others.

3. Organisers & Events

• Organisers are solely responsible for the events they list, including accuracy of details, pricing, cancellations, refunds, and the conduct of their events.
• Organisers must have the right to use any names, logos, images, and content they upload.
• EventsInCayman is not the organiser of events listed by third parties and is not responsible for them.
• We may remove events or content that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. RSVPs & Registrations

RSVPs and registrations are agreements between you and the relevant organiser. Any tickets, fees, refunds, or entry requirements are set and managed by the organiser. Please review the organiser’s terms before registering.

5. User Content & Licence

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By posting content on the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. You are responsible for the content you submit.

6. Scraped & Third-Party Listings

Some listings may be aggregated from publicly available sources and attributed to the original source. These listings may be incomplete, and the original source’s website governs registration and details. Organisers may claim listings relating to their own events in accordance with our claim process.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by EventsInCayman and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Platform without our permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that event information is accurate or complete. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventsInCayman will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Platform, your attendance at or organisation of any event, or your dealings with organisers or other users.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you breach these Terms or use the Platform in a way that could cause harm. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Cayman Islands.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
